About Harry Meade

British Equestrian event rider known for being the youngest rider to ever win the Armada Dish. He s the son of Richard Meade, a three-time Olympic gold medalist in equestrian who was largely considered the country s best ever to compete in the sport.


He grew up riding in the Pony Club and won a Pony Club Championship. He worked as a stable-jockey while attending Bristol University.


His career nearly came to a premature end when he shattered and dislocated both elbows during a fall in 2013. The next year, he returned to riding and came third in the Badminton Horse Trials.
