About Andrew Bynum

Seven-foot NBA center who was selected 10th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2005 NBA Draft. He won two NBA championships with the Lakers before briefly playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers.


He spent his freshman year of high school playing for West Windsor Plainsboro before moving to Solebury School for his sophomore year. After that he transferred to St. Joseph High School where he went on to average over 20 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks per game as a senior before declaring for the NBA Draft at the age of 17.


In 2012, he was involved in a four-team deal that sent Dwight Howard to the Lakers. Bynum went to the Philadelphia 76ers, with whom he would never play a game due to a nagging knee injury during his one year in Philadelphia.
