About Bernard Bragg
American performer, artist, and writer who founded The National Theater of the Deaf and was called the leading professional deaf actor in the country by the New York Times.
He went to New York School for the Deaf and performed in local theatre.
He won the Special Tony Award for Theatrical Excellence to the Actors of the National Theatre of the Deaf in 1977.
