About Buti Manamela

South African politician who is known for having served as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training beginning in October of 2017. He is also known for having served as the Deputy Minister for Planning and Monitoring in the Presidency. 


His career in politics began in 2003 when he served as the National Secretary of the Young Communist League. Then in 2009, he became a member of the ANC of Parliament. He went on to act as Deputy Minister for Planning and Monitoring in May of 2014. 


He originally earned his degrees in Public Administration and Electronic Engineering.
