About Marti Webb

British stage and screen actress and singer. She is most famous for starring in Tell Me on a Sunday, a one-woman musical theater piece written by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.


She made her professional stage debut in a London West End production of Stop the World, I Want to Get Off. She went on to appear in numerous other British stage productions, including the UK national tour of Oliver!


In 1980, she recorded a hit single entitled “Take That Look Off Your Face.” Soon after its release, the song reached # 3 on UK music charts.
