A young boy accepts a challenge from a bully. The film is loosely based on the 1973 children s book of the same name by Thomas Rockwell.


The film won the Young Artists Award for Best Young Ensemble in a Feature Film. Hallie Kate Eisenberg learned archery to prepare for the film.
