About Jeffery Scott Campbell

Best known as J. Scott Campbell, he is a comic book artist notable for his work with Wildstorm Comics. He would become the cover artist on The Amazing Spider-Man and has done work in the video game industry. 


He was more interested in cartoons than comics as a kid. His passion for comics developed after a friend showed him Uncanny X-Men Annual #10. 


He won an “Invent the Ultimate Video Game” contest featured in Nintendo Power magazine when he was just 15 years old. He would co-create the teen superhero team Gen¹³.

Born in East Tawas, Michigan, he would move to Denver, Colorado at a very young age. His younger sister became a digital architect while his younger brother became a musician.
