About Rachel Cohn

Young adult fiction writer whose best-known novels include Gingerbread, published in 2002, and Beta, published in 2012. With her frequent literary collaborator, David Levithan, she also wrote the popular 2007 novel Nick & Norah s Infinite Playlist.


She graduated from New York s Barnard College with a degree in political science and subsequently moved to San Francisco to pursue a career as a writer.


Her debut novel, Gingerbread, details the adventures of punk heroine Cyd Charisse.
