About Tony Barbee
College basketball coach best known for his time as the head coach of the UTEP and Auburn men s basketball teams. He was named C-USA and NABC District 11 Coach of the Year for the 2009-10 season while at UTEP.
He averaged double-digit points every season he played at UMass.
in 2010, he became the first African-American man to coach a major sport at Auburn University.
