About Willard Waterman

Radio and TV actor who was a founding member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). He starred in The Apartment in 1960.


He worked in a war production plant in Kenosha, Wisconsin during World War II.


He played the title character in the radio show The Great Gildersleeve from 1950 to 1957, and appeared on TV shows such as Dennis the Menis and The Dick Van Dyke Show.
