About David Johnson
Explosive tailback who was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals tin the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. In 2016, he tallied over 2,000 combined rushing and receiving yards to go along with 20 touchdowns.
Early Life of David Johnson
He played college ball at the University of Northern Iowa. Before that, he was a track and basketball athlete in high school in addition to football.
His rookie season accolades include: December’s NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month, NFC Special Teams Player of the Week (week 2) and the FedEx NFL Ground Player of the Week (week 15).
He is the son of Regina Johnson. He was born and raised in Clinton, Iowa. He married Meghan Brock in 2016.
In Arizona, he became teammates with fellow running backs Andre Ellington, Chris Johnson and Stepfan Taylor.
