About James Strutt

Modernist rose to become the youngest president in Ontario Association of Architects history. His designs included the Canada Science and Technology Museum and the Gatineau River Yacht Club.


He was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. After the war, he attended the University of Toronto.


His designs revealed a fascination with geometric shapes.
