About Sonya Tayeh

Award-winning dancer and choreographer best known for her work on the popular reality television series So You Think You Can Dance. She has also choreographed for numerous celebrities including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, and Florence Welch.


During her teens, she dabbled in house dancing before beginning her formal training at eighteen as a student at Wayne State University.


It was while running The Dance Company of San Francisco that she developed her signature dance style known as combat jazz.
