DJ rose to become a pioneer in the Detroit electronic music scene. He s best known for incorporating house and garage beats with techno as heard in his hit album Today is the Tomorrow You Were Promised Yesterday.
He started making waves in the Detroit techno scene in 1990 with DJ Derrick May.
He previously went under the monikers Bango, Kosmik Messenger, X-Stacy and Silent Phase.
