Wing who played for six NBA teams from 1983 to 2000, including seven seasons with the Seattle SuperSonics; received the NBA s Most-Improved Player award in 1987 and won the Three-Point Shootout in 1989.

He played for the University of Tennessee from 1979 to 1983, and was a first-team All American in 1983, before being selected 9th overall in the NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks.
