About David Holmes

Notable for his UK Top 50 albums Let s Get Killed (1997) and Bow Down to the Exit Sign (2000), this Northern Irish DJ, composer, and electronic music producer is also recognized for his contributions to the scores of films such as Ocean s Eleven, Analyze That, and Hunger.


He began his career as a DJ when he was just fifteen years old and scored his first electronic hit, “De Niro,” in the early 1990s, while a member of a group called the Disco Evangelists.


His 2008 single “I Heard Wonders” (from his The Holy Pictures album) was played at the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Summer Olympics.
