About Anson Funderburgh

Blue guitarist best known as the leader of Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets. The band s music was featured in the Oscar-nominated film 21 Grams in 2003.


He was born James Anson Funderburgh and formed The Rockets in 1978.


For two years his bassist was Mike Judge, who would go on to have great success as an animator with Beavis and Butt-head.
